What is Revenue?
Revenue is money a business receives for the products and services it sells.

How it Works
A business may earn fees by providing some kind of service.

The business may also earn money from sales.

On top of this, the business may earn interest from investments.

All of these things can be described as revenue.

Revenue refers to money received from goods and services it sells, only.

The term income can mean that, as well.

However, the term ‘income’ differs in that it can also be used to describe the difference between revenue and expenses.
